In “Powder,” ex-army veteran Carson stashes stolen cocaine for low-level hustler Joe the Nose and is pulled into the vicious local drug scene. Smackhead Sammy, the cold-blooded queenpin, runs her territory with an iron fist, aided by her fierce second-in-command, Penny. Meanwhile, Mr Charles—smooth-talking money launderer—keeps Sammy’s fortunes flowing while juggling his own risky secrets. Elijah Khan, a rival kingpin, dispatches his feared enforcer, the Hitman, to crush anyone who dares cross him.
Amid shifting loyalties and brutal reprisals, Carson’s desperation ties him ever closer to the chaos. Penny’s grandfather, Sandy, is caught in the crossfire when his drunken mishap costs Sammy a fortune, fueling her rage.
Corrupt detective DS Cormack prowls the edges, taking payoffs while harboring dark ambitions. As betrayals surface and old wounds fester, everyone converges in a final confrontation where loyalty, blood ties, and raw survival collide—and no one can escape unscathed.

On the 7th June 2025 POWDER began filming...
Now in 2026 the Film will be completed in late April, ready for a festival campaign and an eventual release in later in the year.
The debut film of our impressive slate lives up to being a major indie film for Scotland to be proud of.
